A leading governmental organization is looking for an experienced Tech Lead to manage and mentor a team of Data Engineers. This role focuses on leading cutting-edge development projects using advanced Big Data technologies that contribute directly to national security.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technological leadership and guidance to a team of skilled Data Engineers.
• Design and oversee the development of innovative, high-scale data solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in Big Data development and production environments.
• Ensure the quality and scalability of deliverables in complex projects.
This is a Full-time, on-site, working from the offices in Glilot area, Israel
Job requirements:
• Programming Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python or Java development.
• Big Data Technologies: A minimum of 3 years working with tools like Spark, Hadoop, or similar in high-scale environments.
• Production Environment Experience: At least 1 year with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Messaging Systems: A minimum of 3 years of experience with tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience leading a team of engineers, particularly in Big Data projects.
