A leading company in the automotive industry is looking for a Director of Information Systems for a strategic and challenging role!

Role Responsibilities:
- Leading the company’s information systems strategy in alignment with business needs.
- Managing IT systems, including SAP B1, BI (Qlik), and other internal platforms.
- Identifying and optimizing business and operational processes through IT solutions.
- Overseeing the company’s cybersecurity policies, resilience, and business continuity.
- Collaborating closely with the Digital Projects Manager (who reports directly to the CEO).
- Managing external vendors and leading technological projects.
- Developing an annual work plan and managing the IT budget.
The position is based in Central Israel.
This is a full time position, working 1 day a week from home.
Requirements:
- Experience as an IT Manager or Director of Information Systems in a mid-sized/small company, or as a Team Leader/Department Head in a large organization.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems – preference for SAP B1.
- Experience with BI systems – an advantage.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry – an advantage.
- Proven experience in vendor management and leading technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries and system integrations.
- Broad technological expertise with the ability to drive strategic change.
- Leadership experience managing a team of approximately 10 IT professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong service orientation.
