A leading cybersecurity consulting and managed services company is seeking a seasoned leader to take on the pivotal role of Director of Managed Detection & Response (MDR) Services. This is a senior management position and part of the company’s executive leadership team, with global responsibility for delivering top-tier managed services to clients across Europe and Africa. The role involves close collaboration with renowned technology partners such as Microsoft and Palo Alto.
The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, technical understanding, and exceptional leadership skills to drive operational excellence, foster long-term client relationships, and spearhead business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Leadership: Serve as a member of the company’s executive team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
- Lead and Manage Teams: Lead 4 direct managers overseeing a total workforce of approximately 50 employees.
- Ensure alignment across operational, client management, technology, and business teams.
- Operational Management (24/7): Oversee round-the-clock service delivery and operational excellence.
- Technology Infrastructure & Development:
- Maintain and improve technical infrastructure.
- Provide tailored technical solutions to meet client needs.
- Client & Partner Relationships:
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with leading technology vendors.
- Manage relationships with large enterprise clients in Israel and internationally.
- Navigate escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Business Growth:
- Lead business development efforts to expand managed services offerings globally.
- Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the business unit.
This is a senior, full-time position, working in a hybrid module. The company’s offices are located in Central Israel
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles, within managed services (experience in cybersecurity is a strong advantage).
- Proven experience managing mid-level managers and diverse teams.
- Strong technical background.
- Ability to make informed decisions on development and procurement efforts.
- Proven ability to manage P&L and oversee financial performance.
- Experience with business development, sales, and client account management.
- Proven ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
