Job Description

A leading real estate company is seeking a VP of Business Development to play a central role in shaping its next phase of growth.

This is a high-impact executive position with direct influence on the company’s portfolio expansion, deal quality, and long-term strategy. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring the ability to identify high-potential opportunities, lead complex transactions, and drive projects from initial concept through to completion.

You will take ownership of end-to-end business development processes – from sourcing investment opportunities and conducting in-depth financial and planning analyses, to leading due diligence, negotiating complex deals, and closing high-value transactions. In parallel, you will play a key role in defining and executing the company’s development and investment strategy.

This position involves close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, as well as managing relationships with key external stakeholders across the real estate ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and lead complex real estate transactions – including land acquisitions and income-producing assets
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence processes – financial, planning, legal, tax, and commercial aspects
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and investment modeling to support decision-making
  • Structure and negotiate complex deals with developers, institutional investors, partners, and sellers
  • Initiate and drive new development projects across office, logistics, retail, and mixed-use sectors
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing assets and optimize portfolio performance
  • Define and execute multi-year business development and investment plans
  • Monitor market trends, regulation, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into action
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including planning, valuation, and business professionals
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field (MBA – strong advantage)
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate development, investments, or income-producing real estate
  • Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale real estate transactions
  • Significant experience in senior business development / transactions / development roles
  • Deep familiarity with the Israeli real estate market, particularly the central region
  • Experience working with banks, institutional investors, and financing structures
  • Strong financial modeling and investment analysis capabilities
  • Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional processes
  • Fluent English
