A leading public real estate company is looking for an experienced Statutory Planning Manager to join its Business Development function and report directly to the VP of Business Development.

This is a key role connecting statutory planning with the company’s business development and asset enhancement activities. The role involves leading planning processes that support the development potential of the company’s assets, including changes in land use, additional building rights, regulation of permitted uses, and other statutory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage statutory planning processes from the initial development stage through final approval.
– Advance statutory plans across employment, logistics, commercial, and residential projects.
– Promote land-use changes, additional building rights, regulation of uses, and planning initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s assets.
– Translate business development objectives into actionable statutory planning processes.
– Manage ongoing processes with local and district planning committees, municipalities, city engineers, city architects, and other relevant authorities.
– Recruit and manage consultants and planning professionals.
– Monitor schedules, tasks, and the progress of planning processes.
– Work closely with developers, project managers, and internal professional stakeholders.
– Report directly to the VP of Business Development.

This is a full time position in Ramat Gan

Job requirements:

– Degree in Architecture or Urban Planning, or a Practical Engineering diploma in Architecture – mandatory.
– At least 5 years of proven experience managing and advancing statutory planning processes – mandatory.
– Proven experience working with local and district planning committees, municipalities, and planning authorities – mandatory.
– Experience working directly with city engineers and city architects.
– Experience managing consultants and planning professionals.
– Strong negotiation, process management, and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
– High level of responsibility, persistence, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
